Vancouver: looking back at the 70's

I was recently going through old pictures, slides and infinite contact sheets from my photographic debut in Vancouver and it was like leafing backwards through time. From the late 70's and on, the  vancouver punk scene dominates my photo collection. Bands, Vancouver friends, acquaintances and snapshots from Smiling Buddha nights.  Then there are pictures of Gore Street, where I happened to be on its very last day, taking pictures with Dave Gregg (DOA), before the bulldozers arrived to tear it all down, a symbolic end to an era.

Here are just a few pictures to start with, I plan to scan lots of slides and negatives which I will be posting sometime soon.  Enjoy !
